Truve Motor, an incubated startup at IIT Delhi, is all set to foray into the electric two-wheeler market in the country. The company unveiled a sneak peek of its first electric hyper-sports bike. At the same time, some specifications have been revealed, which is enough to remove the sleep of the night.
True Motorbike claims that their electric superbike will be one of the safest two wheelers in the world. The maximum speed will be 200 kilometers per hour. According to the company, they will release the battery-powered superbike early in the second half of this year. From that time advance booking will start. It will take next year to deliver it.
Truve Motor said they are working on five more models rather than sticking to one. These include Classic, Cafe Racer, Naked, Scrambler and Enduro. The upcoming bikes are being designed and developed at Truvo’s research and development center at IIT Delhi and manufacturing facility in Bangalore.
Truve Motor said in a statement that their electric superbike will collect power from a liquid-cooled AC induction motor. The output of the motel will be 40 kW (53.6 horsepower).
