A new variant of Tata's premium hatchback car has come in the market.

The Dual Clutch Automatic (DCA) variant of Tata’s first premium hatchback car Tata Altroz ​​was launched in the Indian market today. Tata has started pre-booking the car from 2nd of this month. Booking is going to be done for Rs 21,000. Tata Altroz ​​DCA is revealed in seven variants. One is the Black Edition and the other is the top-spec model. The Tata Ultras DCA comes in a brand new color scheme that will match the XT, XZ and XZ+ variants of the car. Also available in Opera Blue, Downtown Red, Arcade Grey, Avenue White and Harbor Blue. Other notable features include a leather seat, 6-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment, rear AC vents, cruise control, auto headlamps, IRA Connected Car technology and more.

Tata Altroz ​​DCA is powered by a 1.2L Revotron petrol engine that produces 8PS of power and 113Nm of torque. It has wet clutch technology keeping in mind the climate of the country. It is also adapted for country roads.

Tata Ultras DCA price in the Indian market starts from ₹ 8.10 Lakh (ex-showroom). The top spec variant is priced at Rs 9.90 lakh (ex-showroom). In the premium hatchback segment, the car will compete with Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Hyundai i20 and Volkswagen Polo.
