Bangalore-based startup Oben Electric has recently launched its first electric motorcycle in the Indian market. His name is Oben Ror. Meanwhile, the company has announced the roadmap for the next two years. According to the company, Owen has promised to launch a new electric two-wheeler every six months by 2024.

Currently, the company is foraying into the country’s electric vehicle market with the help of Oben Rörer. This electric bike comes with a 4.4 kW Lithium Ion battery pack. Which is 150 km. They have claimed that it will match in reality. The maximum speed of the e-bike is 6 kmph. It takes 3 seconds to accelerate from 0-40 km/h. The highlight of the bike is that its battery can be fully charged in just two hours from a 15 amp socket.

The Oben Roor electric bike is priced at Rs 1,24,999 (ex-showroom) without any subsidy in the Indian market. In Maharashtra, it will cost Rs 99,999 with central and state government subsidies. It can be booked from March 17 for Rs 999. It has been announced that the test rides will start from May and deliveries will start from July.
