Black Shark 5 series has been the talk of the town for the past few weeks. When the launch could have taken place, so was Nana Muni. But this time the company put an end to its speculations. Announced, the Black Shark 5 lineup will launch in China on March 30th at 7PM local time. It is believed that this series will come with Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro handsets.

Incidentally, last month two Black Shark smartphones with model numbers KTUS-A0 and PAR-A0 respectively were spotted on the TENAA certification portal. The KTUS-A0 model comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display, in-screen fingerprint scanner, 16GB + 512GB storage, 3GHz octa-core processor and 4,650mAh (rated value) battery. The device has again appeared on the 3C portal with 120W fast charging support.

The PAR-A0, on the other hand, is said to be powered by a 3.2GHz octa-core processor, 12GB + 256GB storage, and a 64-megapixel camera. Also, the rest of the specifications of the device remain the same as the KTUS-A0. Presumably, the KTUS-A0 and PAR-A0 will debut as the Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro respectively.

According to reports, both these handsets will use Qualcomm’s flagship chipset like other BlackShark smartphones. The Black Shark 5 Pro is most likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. And the base variant i.e. Black Shark 5 can come with any premium chipset from last year’s Snapdragon 8 series.
