Honda launches new bike in India to enjoy long distance adventure rides

The Honda Africa Twin has a reputation as a high-tech adventure sports bike. Today, Honda has announced the launch of an updated version of the motorcycle in India. The 2022 Honda Africa Twin has arrived in this country as a CKD model. In other words, the adventure sports bike is made on Indian soil with various imported parts. Prices of the new model start at Rs 16.01 lakh (ex-showroom).

2022 Honda Africa Twin Specifications & Features

The heart of the 2022 Honda Africa Twin is the 1082.96 cc Liquid Cooled 8-Valve Parallel Twin Engine. Which generates 63 kW of power at 7500 rpm and torque of 103 Nm at 8000 rpm. The engine comes with the option of manual transmission (MT) and dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

Honda Africa Twin has exclusive features for long distance adventure travel. eg.
Electronic suspension, adjustable windscreen, large fuel tank, heated grips, tubeless tyres, etc. Other notable features include four riding modes (tour, urban, gravel and off-road), dual channel ABS, Honda selectable torque control and DCT variants in the six-axis IMU.

The 2022 Honda Africa Twin manual and DCT variants are priced at Rs 16.01 lakh and Rs 16.55 lakh respectively. It can be chosen from Darkness Black Metallic and Pearl Glare White.
