More than one phone of Samsung Galaxy A series will be launched on March 17

A recent report confirms this saying, in fact, TechPara has been rife with rumors since early March that tech brand Samsung is planning to launch a launch event called ‘Galaxy Awesome Unpacked’ soon. However, since the company itself did not raise any issue in this regard, the veracity of the news could not be confirmed. But now, a post shared on microblogging site Twitter via tipster Evan Blass has revealed that the upcoming launch event will take place next week, March 16. It has also been claimed that the event will be live-streamed through the company’s official website. The South Korean-based tech giant is also expected to launch four new mid-range phones at the event, namely Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73 5G. Incidentally, the Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone series, which includes the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series, made its global market debut at the ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ launch event held last February.

Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event is being held on March 18

According to a picture shared on Twitter by Evan Blass, the ‘Galaxy Assam Unpacked Launch Event’ will be held on March 16 this year as well as in 2021. A similar claim was made by TechInsiderBlog in its latest report in the first half of this month. There are rumors that the smartphone maker will launch a total of 4 new smartphones under the Galaxy A-series at its upcoming event. Just like the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones were launched at the event last year. In such a situation, according to the leaked reports in the last few months, the Galaxy A73 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G phones can debut under the Galaxy A-series. Let’s take a look at the features of the previously mentioned smartphones before the event goes live.

As per previous reports, both the Samsung Galaxy A83 5G and Galaxy A53 5G will be powered by the company’s own custom OS One UI 4 based on the latest Android 12. The Galaxy A83 5G and Galaxy A53 5G phones will respectively be offered with 6.6-inch and 6.52-inch AMOLED displays with 120 Hz refresh rate. Talking about the internal specifications, the A83 5G will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650G processor. And, according to the listing on benchmarking site Geekbench, the Exynos 1200 processor will be used in the Galaxy A53 5G phone.

Talking about the camera front, Samsung Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A53 5G smartphones can be launched with two quad rear camera setup. The A83 5G is expected to pack a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the other hand, the A53 5G phone could come with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, and two 5-megapixel sensors. Both the 5G connectivity smartphones will house a 5,000mAh battery, which will offer 25W fast charging.

Both the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G smartphones are said to run on Android 11 operating system. The Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G will respectively feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and 7.8-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor will be used in Galaxy A33 5G phone for faster performance. On the other hand, Galaxy A23 is expected to come with 5G MediaTek Dimensity 600 processor.

Apart from this, Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G can be seen in the quad rear camera. In this case, the Galaxy A33 5G phone will have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 5-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the other hand, the Galaxy A23 5G phone could come with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors. Some reports have claimed that the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G smartphones will be backed by a 5,000mAh capacity battery with 15W charging support.
