New beta update for WhatsApp iOS, iPhone users can use dark theme

WhatsApp has brought a slew of updates for Android beta users over the past few weeks. But this time the instant messaging platform has released iOS beta version for iPhone users which will introduce dark theme on the device. Earlier, WhatsApp introduced options like focus mode, notification group and profile photo display in iOS 15. There is also a new release for desktop users that will fix some bugs. Anyway now let’s get the details about the new WhatsApp iOS beta update.
WhatsApp gets a new beta update on iOS
WhatsApp beta tracker WABetaInfo reports that the dark theme will be available in iOS beta 22.6.0.6. It will integrate better with the UI components of the device. In this case, WABetaInfo shared a screenshot where the bottom toolbar is displayed in black instead of gray. The update will also start showing profile photos in beta tester notifications.
Meanwhile, the latest beta version of iOS has arrived with some bug fixes. Needless to say, these bugs are affecting profiles and group photos so that they are not visible on the chat screen. However, it is being claimed that after the new update, the problem will be fixed and the same solution has been brought for WhatsApp Desktop.
WhatsApp Android Beta is also new
Earlier this week, WhatsApp relaunched the option to pause and resume voice message recording for beta testers on Android. It was also seen testing the Stickers tab in the Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app. WhatsApp has also recently launched its multi-device support for all (read stable) users.
