OnePlus 10R Coming Before OnePlus 10, Leaked Live Images

After China, now OnePlus is preparing to launch its OnePlus 10 Pro flagship smartphone in the global market. However, the company has not yet officially announced the launch date of this flagship phone. However, amidst speculation about this phone, another new device was seen from OnePlus. Actually, today two pictures of a OnePlus phone have been shared on social media. The phone is expected to hit the market under the name OnePus 10R. The design of the rear camera module of the device seen in the picture is different from the OnePlus 10 Pro launched in the global market. It is available in Mint Green and Black color options. Another photo has a sandstone finish.

Live images of the new OnePlus 10R phone surfaced

Photos of the new OnePlus phone first surfaced on the Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo. As can be seen in this live image, there is a large rectangular camera module on the back panel of the phone. The module houses a large primary camera along with three additional cameras and an LED flash. Also, the traditional OnePlus logo in the middle of the back panel went unnoticed. The front panel of this upcoming device is not visible in the leaked picture.

Well-known tipster Abhishek Yadav found the picture of this upcoming OnePlus phone on Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo. Although he is not sure whether it is actually a device from OnePlus or not. Abhishek Yadav tweeted that the device is either OnePlus 10 or OnePlus 10 Pro. However, another tipster Max Jambor said in the comments section of his tweet that he would know which device it is if he was told the model number. In a follow-up comment, Yadav replied again, “Is this (picture) true?” This indicates that the leaked image is yet to be confirmed.

However, Max Jamboree retweeted the same tweet shortly after saying that the device could be OnePlus 10R, codenamed Achaar. He further claimed that the OnePlus 10R model will be unveiled in the market before the base model of the OnePlus 10 series.

According to previous reports, OnePlus 10R will come with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. It could also have a 120Hz display. Traditionally, OnePlus has been using Qualcomm chipsets in its flagship series of phones, so it is quite surprising that the OnePlus 10R will feature a MediaTek processor. Its predecessor, the OnePlus 9R, is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 60 chipset.

Note that although no information has been released about the pricing of the OnePlus 10R, it is likely that the device will cost less than the OnePlus 10. For example, the OnePlus 9R was priced at Rs 39,999 at the time of launch, so the upcoming OnePlus 10R model is expected to be priced under Rs 45,000.
