OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is coming for less than 20 thousand rupees, renders and features leaked earlier

Smartphone maker OnePlus plans to launch multiple devices in its Nord series in the first half of this year. The fans of OnePlus are also eagerly waiting for the launch of these new smartphones. Recently, the design and specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2T phone have been revealed. And now a new report has revealed the renders of the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The handset is still rumored to be the cheapest OnePlus smartphone in the market. Let’s take a look at some new information about OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite.

Publicly designed OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite

Renders of the OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite have surfaced from a new report by 91Mobiles. According to this render, the upcoming smartphone will have a glossy plastic back panel with curved edges. It will not be like the upcoming Nord 2T, which is said to come with a sandstone finish. The rear panel of the Nord CE2 Lite houses a large rectangular camera module with two large camera sensors, a smaller third camera and an LED flash.

Also, this handset will be given a flat side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right side and will have volume rockers and hybrid SIM slot on the left side. It is believed that the Lite version of the OnePlus Nord CE2 will not include any dedicated micro-SD card slot. At the bottom of the Nord smartphone, there will be a Type-C port, speaker grille and 3.5mm headphone jack. However, these new renders of the OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite didn’t feature the company’s always-known alert slider. Again, the OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite is said to include a punch-hole camera at the top left corner of the display. It is also rumored that this smartphone will be the first Nord device to be powered by the Android 12 operating system.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Expected Specifications

Key specifications of the OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite have already been leaked. According to previous reports, this handset can have a 6.56-inch Full HD + display with 120 Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

In terms of cameras, the triple camera setup on the back panel of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite could include a 64-megapixel Omnivision primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel mono lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone will feature a 16-megapixel sensor inside the punch-hole display. For power backup, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Note that in terms of pricing, the upcoming smartphone will be cheaper than its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord CE 2. Nord CE 2 was launched in the Indian market for Rs 23,999. In such a situation, the price of the Lite version can be kept below Rs 20,000. Although OnePlus has not released any information about this phone yet.
