Oppo Reno 4 SE and K9 Pro 5G smartphones get Android 12 and ColorOS 12 updates

Oppo is currently busy rolling out the Android 12 based ColorOS 12 update on its various mid-range smartphones. It has come to the notice that many handsets of companies of that range in different countries have been upgraded to the new operating system. That list includes the Oppo K9 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 4 SE available in China.

To get the new system upgrade, Oppo K9 Pro 5G and Reno 4 SE users must have firmware versions A.14 / A.15 and C20 or C.21. Like other OTA updates, this batch is coming to an end. As a result, it will take some time to reach everyone.

Note that the Android 12 based ColorOS 12 version has new features added as well as improvements in several places. There will be some visible changes to the interface. Be it an icon or exit from the Settings panel, or a system app. Apart from this, users will get Android 12’s new privacy dashboard and advanced security features like microphone and camera indicator.

However, keep in mind that the update is currently only available on the Chinese variant of Oppo K9 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 4 SE. It is not yet known what he will do after leaving office.
