Redmi 10 launched with 6000mAh battery and 50 megapixel camera, know the price

Today, March 16, Redmi 10 launches in India. This new handset has entered the Indian market as a successor to the existing Redmi 9 phone. The relevant phone has already made its debut in the global market. However, some changes can be seen in the Indian version. For example, while the global variant has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, the Redmi 10 comes with a rear fingerprint sensor. Apart from this, the new phone will come with a host of features including a waterdrop notch-style display panel, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 60 chipset, and a dual rear camera setup. Having said that, this newly launched Redmi handset is probably a rebranded version of the Redmi 10C phone that debuted in Nigeria this week. And in terms of both price and features, Redmi 10 will compete with the existing Realme C35, Motorola Moto E40, Tecno Spark 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 smartphones in the Indian market. However, let’s take a closer look at the price, sale offers and features of the Redmi 10 smartphone.

Redmi 10 Price and Availability

Redmi 10 smartphone has been brought in India in two storage variants. Out of which 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage option costs Rs 10,999. The price of 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant is Rs 12,999. In terms of availability, the new phone will be available for purchase from 12 noon on March 24 via e-commerce site Flipkart, the company’s official website (Mi.com), Mi Home and select offline retail stores. It is available in Caribbean Green, Midnight Black and Pacific Blue colours.

Talking about the launch offer, HDFC Bank credit card users will get an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on buying Redmi 10.

The dual-SIM Redmi 10 smartphone flaunts a 7.8-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, which offers 20.6:9 aspect ratio and 400 net peak brightness. It comes with Adreno 610 GPU and Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 80 processor for faster performance. And as an operating system, it will have Android 11 based MIUI 13 custom skin. Also, this phone has up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The RAM capacity can be increased up to 2 GB by using the inbuilt storage in the phone. It is possible to increase the internal storage of the phone via microSD card.

Talking about the camera front, Redmi 10 has a dual rear camera setup with LED flash light. This is a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. Similarly, a 5 megapixel selfie camera will be available in the phone for selfie and video chat.

Again, connectivity options on the Redmi 10 phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Along with this, sensor, accelerometer, ambient light and proximity sensor will be available in the phone. Also, the rear fingerprint sensor has been given in the handset for security. For power backup, Redmi 10 has a 6,000 mAh capacity battery which supports 16W fast charging. However, the charging capacity of the charger given in the retail box of the phone is only up to 10 watts. Lastly, the phone measures 179.59×7.58×9.13mm and weighs 203 grams.
