Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, the first handset of the Redmi K50 series, has already been launched in China. Xiaomi is expected to roll out the other three smartphones in the series, Redmi K50, Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro+ models soon. Today, putting an end to all the speculations, it has announced the launch date of the new smartphone in the Redmi K50 series.

According to a teaser shared by the company, the Redmi K50 series devices will launch on March 18. The poster confirms that one of them will house at least a 108-megapixel triple rear camera with dual-LED flash. Apart from this, Xiaomi has not released any other information.

Let us know that Redmi K50 Gaming Edition with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor was launched in China last month. The news is that the upcoming K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+ models will use Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 9000 chipsets respectively.

As previously reported from the TENAA listing, the Redmi K50 and K50 Pro+ will come in three memory configurations – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. On the other hand, tipster Whitelab claims that the Redmi K50 Pro+ could feature a 108-megapixel sensor with OIS support as the main camera. Redmi K50 will not support OIS even if it comes with the same camera.
