Xiaomi recently launched a new laptop named RedmiBook Pro 15 (2022) in a virtual event. This new laptop has debuted with the Redmi K50 series of smartphones. Talking about the features, this laptop comes with 12th generation Intel Core i5/i7 processor with IPS display panel and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 GPU or Intel UHD graphics. It will run on the latest Windows 11 operating system. And, it will offer up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Apart from this, Xiaomi’s new laptop will support Travel Mylar touchpad, power button embedded fingerprint scanner and Microsoft PTP clickpad technology. Redmibook Pro 15 (2022) laptops come in three variants. Of these, Intel UHD graphics and 12th generation Intel Core i5 processor variants cost 5,599 Yuan i.e. around Rs 7,000 in India. The price of Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 GPU and 12th generation Intel Core i5 processor variant is 7,899 Yuan or approximately Rs 71,400. And, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 GPU and 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor variant costs 7,499 Yuan or approximately Rs 79,60.

The company is yet to announce when the RedmiBook Pro 15 (2022) laptop will be available in India and the global market.

The Windows 11 powered RedmiBook Pro 15 (2022) laptop features a 15.6-inch (3,200×2,000 pixels) IPS display. The display offers 18:10 aspect ratio, 400 net peak brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut. In terms of performance, the 12th generation Intel Core i7-12650H and 12th Generation Intel Core i5-12450H processors have been used in the laptop. Also, as a GPU, the device has Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 or Intel UHD graphics (for the i5-124500 model). There are three variants of the laptop with 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM with 5,200 MHz frequency rate and 512 GB storage.

Additionally, port options in the RedmiBook Pro 15 (2022) laptop include Thunderbolt 4 ports, supporting dual 4K video output or a single 8K video output. Other connectivity options on the model include dual-band Wi-Fi 8 with 2.4GHz and 5GHz clock rates, Bluetooth v5.2, HDMI 2.0 port and 3.5mm headphone jack. For power backup, this Xiaomi laptop has a 72Whr capacity battery, which gives up to 12 hours of battery life on a single charge. Lastly, the RedmiBook Pro 15 (2022) laptop measures 350.1×242.3×14.9mm and weighs 1.6kg.
