Tata Motors has announced a hike in the price of commercial vehicles. This information has been given by the organization in a statement today. The prices will increase from 2% to 2.5% depending on the model and variant of the Tata Commercial Vehicle. The increased price will be effective from the first day of the next month i.e. April 1.

Tata Motors said in a statement that the decision to increase the prices has been taken due to rising prices of steel, aluminum and other precious metals and components. At the same time, the war between Russia and Ukraine has made raw materials more expensive.

“We have taken some of the burden of rising cost of production, but we are going to share some of the increase in prices with our customers as other cost increases at different stages of manufacturing,” Tata said. That’s why the prices of commercial vehicles are being increased.

Incidentally, Tata has recently increased the prices of its commercial vehicles as well as passenger cars. The price of Nexon EV and Tigor EV electric vehicles has been increased by Rs 25,000 in one go.
