Low-budget Vivo Y01 released

Vivo Bangladesh brings Vivo Y01 in the market for the lower-budget phone users. The device is priced at ৳9,990 and is available in Sapphire Blue and Elegant Black colors.

We have a minimal, simplistic but elegant looking design although there is a more classic waterdrop notch design on the front instead of a punch-hole camera setup. The backside specially looks quite elegant considering its price. There is a large 6.51 inches HD+ IPS LCD display. In terms of design and display, its pretty optimal.

We have a single 8 MP back camera and a 5 MP front camera. You will definitely get better camera than this for the price from brands like Symphony mobile. The 5000 mAh battery has 10W fast charging as well as reverse charging so, it’s fine in terms of battery.

The performance is a disadvantage of this phone. We have a very standard 2 GB RAM with MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It is just okay to do your everyday task and the Go Edition of Android 11 is a good fit for it. But its not optimal for intensive usage, multitasking or gaming. You can play some low-graphics smaller games and run a few small apps together. But it’s still lagging behind in 2022. You will get 3 to 4 GB RAM in some Symphony phones including Symphony Z45 and Symphony Z33 as well as a much stronger Unisoc T610 chipset (comparison of Helio P35 vs Unisoc T610).

So, altogether Vivo Y01 is a decent and stylish choice for everyday calling, messaging and for some small tasks.
