OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G: New mid-range 5G phone choice

OnePlus Bangladesh brings yet another lower-budget 5G choice called OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and this time it comes under the mid-range pricing sector. There is only the 8/128 GB version launched and it will cost ৳29,990.

The design of the phone is prety simplistic. We have a large 6.59 inches Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. Although we have a very smooth refresh rate option here, there is no AMOLED technology or a screen protection such as Gorilla Glass so, there are a few defficiencies in the display sector considering its cost. Then we have a 64 MP main back camera and a 16 MP front camera both supporting up to 1080p video recording. There is no 4K recording option which is a drawback. The photo quality is decent but nothing too impressive. You will surely get better cameras for the price from other brands.

In the battery section we have 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It is a fair setup. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm) chipset with 8 GB RAM and OnePlus’s own smooth Oxygen OS UI based on Android 12. It is a good performance setup. Gaming, multitasking etc. should be smooth and with the combination of 5G support at this price, we can’t complain much in the performance sector.

Among other features, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Dual SIM, shared MicroSD slot and so on.
